The Keys System on DYORED is a pivotal component of the platform, functioning as an internal currency that facilitates various user actions and plan upgrades. This system is divided into acquisition, usage, and upgrading aspects, each serving a unique purpose in enhancing the user experience.

Acquisition of Keys

• Purchasing Key Packs: Users can acquire keys by purchasing them in packs. Three types of packs are available: 25, 50, and 100 keys. This allows users to choose a pack based on their needs and planned usage.
• Allocation in Plans: Project Members automatically receive 1000 keys monthly as part of their plan, specifically for use within the Influencers Hub.

Usage of Keys

• Navigator (Free Users): They can use keys to start threads or suggest rumors. However, they cannot use keys to upgrade project tracking or private investigations.
• Angel (Paid Users): In addition to the Navigator uses, Angels can use keys to upgrade their limits on project tracking and private investigations.
• Guardians and Investigators: Although these users have unlimited access to most features, keys remain valuable for accessing additional perks and services exclusive to the platform.
• Influencers: They have a unique advantage as they can use keys to upgrade their project tracking and private investigation capabilities, effectively achieving higher access levels. Additionally, they can earn keys by completing tasks in the Influencers Hub.
• Project Members: Their allocated keys are mainly for creating tasks in the Influencers Hub, encouraging engagement from Influencers. They can also purchase additional keys if needed.

Upgrading Plans with Keys

• Angel and Influencer Upgrades: Users on these plans can use keys to upgrade certain features. For Angels, this means enhancing their project tracking and private investigation limits. Influencers can use keys to elevate their access to levels similar to higher-tier plans.
• Free Users (Navigators): They do not have the option to upgrade their plan features using keys.
• Marketplace Utilization: A future implementation includes a marketplace where various items and services can be purchased using keys, further expanding the utility of this internal currency.

Actions Available Exclusively to Navigators Using Keys

Navigators, or free users, need to use keys for certain actions on DYORED. These include:

1. Starting a Thread:

   • Cost: 5 Keys
   • Navigators can initiate discussion threads related to projects or contributions.

2. Adding a Rumor:

   • Cost: 10 Keys
   • This feature allows Navigators to add rumors or speculative information about projects.

3. Bumping a Project:

   • Cost: 5 Keys
   • Navigators can highlight a project to signal its importance or need for further investigation.

4. Suggesting a Project:

   • Cost: 10 Keys
   • Navigators can suggest new projects for inclusion on the platform.

Actions Included in Paid Plans (Free for Users Beyond Navigator)

For users on paid plans like Angels and Guardians but also special plans like Investigators, Influencers and Project Members, the above actions are included in their plans at no extra key cost.

Exclusive Upgradable Actions for Angels and Influencers

Certain features are exclusively upgradable using keys for users on specific paid plans:

1. Tracking a Project (Angels and Influencers Only):

   • Cost: 1 Key per project
   • Allows for tracking additional projects beyond the plan’s limit.

2. Private Investigation (PI) (Angels and Influencers Only):

   • Cost: 3 Keys
   • Enables initiating private investigations on projects.

Comprehensive Access for Guardians, Investigators, and Project Members

Users on the Guardian, Investigator, and Project Member plans enjoy comprehensive access, including all the actions listed above without the need for additional keys. These plans provide extensive capabilities, reflecting the highest tier of access on DYORED.
